I work with engineering teams, agencies, and restoration practitioners to develop, review, and refine river reconstruction and restoration projects.
My focus is on approaches that perform in the field—drawing on experience across a wide range of systems, constraints, and project types.

I work with teams at key stages of design and construction to help resolve complex river system challenges.
What types of projects do you support?
I work on river restoration, reconstruction, and stabilization projects, particularly those involving complex hydraulic, geomorphic, or infrastructure-related challenges.
Who do you typically work with?
Most of my work is with engineering firms, public agencies, mitigation bankers and restoration practitioners. I am brought in to support design teams or provide independent technical input.
What is your role on a project?
My involvement is focused on concept development, design review, mentoring, and construction-phase advising. Typically, I no longer provide detailed design production or full project delivery.
Can you review an existing design?
Yes. I frequently provide independent review and technical input on design plans, including identification of potential issues and recommendations for refinement.
Do you provide field or construction support?
Yes. I work with design teams and contractors during construction to help address field conditions, provide installation guidance, and support successful project implementation.

Engagements are focused and tailored to project needs, ranging from short-term technical input to ongoing advisory support during design and construction.
